How this league works

Taking part in the Ridden Showing League is simple — just follow three steps:

1. Compete
Enter eligible ridden showing classes at recognised competitions. Both affiliated and unaffiliated results count toward league standings.

2. Submit Your Results
Upload your results through the official Forces Equine system so your performance is reflected on the national leaderboard.

3. Earn Points & Progress
Points are awarded based on your placing. Accumulated points determine your leaderboard position and contribute toward Forces Equine Championship qualification.

The Ridden Showing League operates with clear and fair rules to ensure a professional and enjoyable experience:

Eligibility

  • Open to all Forces Equine community riders
  • Each horse-and-rider combination earns points separately
  • Only results from eligible ridden showing classes at recognised competitions count

Points and Rankings

  • Points are awarded according to placing (see table above)
  • Leaderboards are updated regularly

Submitting Results

  • Results must be submitted through the official Forces Equine system
  • Only complete and verified results will be counted

Conduct

  • Riders and horses are expected to present themselves to a high standard of turnout, sportsmanship, and respect
  • Any disputes will be resolved by the Forces Equine committee, whose decision is final

Championship Qualification

Qualification for the Forces Equine Championships is based on consistent performance throughout the season:

  1. Accumulate Points – compete in eligible ridden showing classes
  2. Consistency Counts – best results across the season contribute toward qualification
  3. Leaderboard Ranking – top horse-and-rider combinations qualify for the Championships

Key Notes:

  • Results from both affiliated and unaffiliated competitions count
  • Each horse-and-rider combination qualifies independently
  • Qualification is confirmed by the Forces Equine committee prior to the Championships

This system rewards consistency, presentation, and performance in the show ring.
