As the dust settles on another unforgettable Forces Equine Games, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on what was truly a fantastic #FEG2026 at Pickering Grange Equestrian Centre.
First and foremost, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to every rider, volunteer, supporter, official, sponsor and spectator who joined us over the weekend. Your enthusiasm, sportsmanship and unwavering support are what make the Forces Equine Games such a special event year after year.
This year's Games saw competitors from across the Armed Forces, Emergency Services, Veterans Community and their families come together to celebrate friendship, competition and a shared passion for equitation. From the first competitor entering the arena to the final presentations, the atmosphere throughout the weekend was exceptional.
An Honour to Host the Gratitude Games Equestrian Leg
A particular highlight of the weekend was the privilege of hosting the Equestrian Leg of the Gratitude Games.
As Official Equestrian Partners of the Gratitude Games, it was an honour to welcome competitors and supporters from across the wider public service community and play our part in an initiative that recognises and celebrates those who dedicate their lives to serving others.
The values of the Gratitude Games align perfectly with those of Forces Equine, and we are delighted to confirm that we look forward to hosting the Equestrian Leg once again next year.
Thank You to Our Sponsors
Events such as the Forces Equine Games simply would not be possible without the incredible support of our sponsors and partners.
Whether through class sponsorship, prizes, rosettes, services, products or behind-the-scenes support, every contribution helped make #FEG2026 the success it was.
To each and every sponsor who chose to support Forces Equine, thank you. Your continued belief in our community enables us to provide opportunities, experiences and memories that will stay with our members for years to come.

Thank You, Jan
This year's Games also marked the end of an era.
After an incredible 13 years supporting the Forces Equine Games, Jan has decided to retire at the remarkable age of 74.
Jan has been a constant presence throughout the growth and development of the Games and has dedicated countless hours helping ensure competitors, volunteers and organisers could enjoy successful events year after year.
Her commitment, kindness, professionalism and friendship have left an indelible mark on Forces Equine.
On behalf of everyone involved with the organisation, we would like to thank Jan for everything she has done. Her contribution cannot be measured, and whilst she will be greatly missed, we wish her a long, happy and well-deserved retirement.
Thank you, Jan. You will always be part of the Forces Equine family.
Exciting Plans for the Future
Following our official post-event meeting between the Pickering Grange team and Forces Equine Show Director, Debi Heath French, we are delighted to confirm that exciting opportunities are already being developed for the future.
Thanks to the valuable feedback received from competitors, volunteers and supporters, we are now in a stronger position than ever to continue growing and improving our events.
Plans are already underway for new training opportunities, additional member experiences and an exciting brand-new Winter Show, which we know many of you are going to love.
Whilst we cannot reveal too much just yet, announcements will be made very soon and trust us when we say—you won't want to miss them.
Looking Ahead
The feedback we have received following #FEG2026 has been overwhelmingly positive and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who took the time to share their thoughts and suggestions.
Your feedback helps shape the future of Forces Equine and ensures that every event continues to evolve and improve.
We are already looking forward to welcoming you back for future competitions and events, and with exciting new developments on the horizon, the future of Forces Equine has never looked brighter.
From all of us at Forces Equine, thank you for making #FEG2026 such a memorable event.
