Not beginners to riding, but beginners to the sport of Barrel Racing!

A couple of weeks ago, Sally from 4 Strides Equestrian contacted Forces Equine with the idea of getting a Forces Equine team to compete at our competition #FEG2021 held at Arena UK next September 1st 2021 and  the possibility to go off to the World Championships. 

Forces Equine had the opportunity to send two of their members to 4 Strides Equestrian, based near Grantham in Lincolnshire and what a weekend Captain David Heath French RAMC & Warrent Officer Saul Vine RAF had. They gave it their all and you can see a snippet below.

"In September 2021, As a result of the weekend spent with us, 4 Strides Equestrian UK/UKBHA have been invited to be part of the opening ceremony for the National UK Public Services Equestrian Championships being held at Arena UK, where barrel racing teams (forces V civilians) will go head to head against each other, to make a spectacular demonstration of barrel racing skill at the opening ceremony.

Both teams will be trained by 4 Strides at their purpose built training facility between November 2020 and August 2021." said Sally, Founder of 4 Strides Equestrian (pictured).

You do not need your own horse, it is preferable but Sally does have school horses at her venue where you can train and practice your moves for what will be a great event.

So when are the training dates?

First Saturday of every month, starting;
