Horse Show for All courtesy of Forces Equine
Forces Equine is an online community dedicated to those in the Services and their families. In May this year Forces Equine is holding its first show, the Forces Equine Games.
"Unusually for a military show this will have more of a club feel with riders from all Services competing against each other across a number of events. The event is open to all and we hope everyone can help us to celebrate a proud history and future for Forces equestrian sport".

More about the Games
The games are being held at the Wellington Riding Club in Hampshire and will be a fantastic weekend of entertainment and competition. British Showjumping have loaned a few of the Greenwich Olympic Show Jumps; so a great photo opportunity for all. To complement showjumping there will be dressage and in-hand classes as well as fun events of both children and adults. For those without an horse or pony the organisers are putting on a Dog Show run by Forces Canine.
In the evening light entertainment will allow the hard working and disparate community to spend some time catching up and getting to know each other. FEG will also be helping to showcase two equestrian sports with military roots, tent pegging and horse archery, and will welcome the respective national associations who are holding their championships at the event.
For those who are deployed on operations and missing their equines, and shows like Forces Equine Games, FE has teamed up with Horse and Hound to send out free magazines.
Forces Equine has also organised military discounts for major equestrian events, around the country and are very grateful for the support. Forces Equine Games is funded entirely by sponsorship and the team thank everyone involved. It is hoped the money raised can be split between the service equestrian teams and the FE chosen charity, Horseback UK.
