This week we kick off with Sgt Susan Williams ACF and a report from Clwyd & Gwynedd Army Cadet Force.
"Deeside instructor Susan Williams and her trusty steed Tara have been taking part in a British Dressage Qualifier event at Coleg Cambria. The award winning team of Susan and Tara were joined by a new support team of cadets from Deeside detachment.
Susan reported "four Cadets from Deeside came to support me, maybe Tara has little fan club. LCpl Williams E, LCpl Cavanah, LCpl Sterio and Cpl Baines, it was lovely to see them showing an interest. Cpl Baines was really bonding with Tara, brushing her and talking to her, LCpl Sterio, LCpl Cavanah were very helpful." Susan added " I think it's really nice for Cadets to finally meet Tara as she is in my eyes famous as, people come over at the show wanting photographs taken with her".
Susan Williams has demonstrated her equestrian talents by winning at the British Riding Club 5star National Championships 2019 representing Forces Equine. Susan and her 21 year old horse Tara aka Shadylady became National Champion at Medium level with a score over 69%.
