Once again our members have been out and about showing what they are made of. This weekend PC Philippa Wratten of Kent Police, attended Hickstead and qualified for her class (out of 100 competitors) in the main Hickstead arena where she claimed 5th place out of 15, which was out of a total of 31 qualified combinations.
"I'm literally bursting with pride for my gorgeous mare. There is nothing quite like walking into the main ring at Hickstead on a horse you have worked so hard on and broke yourself. Her first main ring experience and she bloody nailed it. Flew round the 1.20m championship to finish 5th in a very fast class so I could not be happier.
1.10m final and she was to strong after the previous jump off so struggled with brakes but who cares! To qualify 2 finals was more than I could ever ask of her. Another amazing memory on my amazing little horse! said Philippa.
We are super proud of this pair and look forward to their debut at the Horse of the Year Show in October 2018!
Lisa Hinton attended Crofton with her own Holisco where the pair jumped their first 1st Newcomers.
Lisa had a horrific accident on her other horse not so long ago and so it is great to see her back out and about doing what she does best!Crew Manager Sally Ann Walker of Cleveland Fire Service set the world on fire by winning her PSG Silver class at Bury Farm.
"Fantastic time at Bury Farm High Profile Show, our personal best test yesterday in the PSG, 1st in our section and 7th overall. We also did the Inter 1 and managed the 7, 2 times flying changes." said Sally Ann.
Thank you Jenna Hastings of Forces Equine for meeting and showing FE support! #ForcesEquine
We wanted to wish both Sally & husband Andy a very happy anniversary which they celebrated together at the show.
You'll be able to see Sally Ann in person competing at FEG in October along with Philippa & Lisa named above.
New member Signaller Hannah Thomas, Royal Signals, British Army has been out and about on her own horse at her local show centre.
Hannah use to be an International Dressage Groom prior to joining the British Army and has a real passion for her discipline.
We are looking forward to seeing more of this rider in the future months and photographer Melody of Melody Fisher Photography said "It is a proud moment when you see services riders out in uniform."
"Not every day do we have the pleasure of hosting a member of the British Army! What an amazing sight! Thank you for joining us Sig Thomas and thank you for your service!" said Beachwood Equestrian Centre.
Well done Hannah, you look great and you do your service proud.
FE Member Louise Revill (Civil Servant) attended a BE Event at Sapey and gained a fantastic Double Clear!
"So near yet so far to being a double rosette weekend! Joey managed to pull a double clear out of the bag at Sapey BE today with only 3 time penalties knocking us just out of the top 10! I feel massively proud and lucky to have these 2 wonderful boys in my life" said Louise.
Well done Louise, great to see you out and about!
Team Field have been out and about showing Chard Equestrian just how good our FEYRA members area.
