During the lockdown our Chairman, Captain David Heath French, signed up for the virtual fitness challenges in October 2020 with a personal achievement to get out and about and hopefully get a bit fitter.
When the second lockdown was announced he decided to carry out a challenge throughout 2021 whilst raising money for charity. Sharing the idea with others, Mike Downard, the Founder of Gratitude Games, joined the challenge and came up with the name 'Gratitude Mile'.
The Forces Equine Gratitude Mile was born.
